I let studying for the Part 3 get to me, constantly on my mind even on holiday and leisure time. I felt I wasn't making any headway, and was very much aware that time was running out. I contacted Jane Clarke, and after my first lesson I knew that I had made a good decision. Over several weeks (Jane with a little help from me) turned my negative towards positive. This increased my self belief and confidence, and that in turn reduced pressure. I can't thank Jane enough, oh yes I almost forgot to say I PASSED!

After receiving over 64 hours worth of part 3 instructor training from a
previous well known Lincoln driving instructor and all savings gone I
did not feel ready for the part 3 instructor test or even the trainee
license. After contacting Jane through a recommendation we met up for an
assessment of my progress to see where I was up to. Immediately Jane
found holes in my skills and I failed to control her and lacked the
important understanding for the core competencies.
After the assessment Jane took me under her wing to retrain me in
areas I was lacking important skills in. With a new instructor and
Jane's methods of teaching I was able to learn quickly with a strong
understanding of what was required. Jane's techniques of teaching worked
for me where another had failed, a new approach was needed and without
Jane I would not of been successful at passing the part 3 exam.
I found Jane to be delightful to work with, I would highly recommend
her to anyone that is unhappy with there part 3 instructor training or
who is about to start the part 3 instructor training. Her experience of
being a former DSA examiner means that she plays the role of the
examiner in every way and I was prepared for all the tricks that can be
expected from the examiner and how to control them.

As a recently retired Police Officer I have experienced a
number of different trained techniques and methods all having a varying degree
of success. I knew what worked for me, but now the hard bit finding someone who
could provide.
In October 2010 having passed my ADI,
part 1 and 2 first time I decided to follow in the footsteps of Nick Robson
driver trainer in respect of my Part 3 and I was so pleased I did. His
evaluation of Jane’s training, knowledge, experience and patience was spot on
and she was just what I required.
After 50 hours of training with no external experience with
pupils outside Jane’s lesson framework, an area that I know Jane along with
myself was concerned about, but I still passed my part 3 first time!

I had paid out £3650 to one of the big schools (guess who) the training i
received was rubbish. I had'nt done all the pst's and was advised to
apply for my part 3 test.
I knew i had to have more training so then went about contacting other
ADI trainers after failing my part 3 test's with other trainer's and
wasting thousands of pounds i had to re-start the training process
again. I nearly had given up when i noticed Jane Clarke's detail's in
the ADI magazine, i noticed she was an ex DSA Examiner, who better to
contact than someone who has been there and done it.
I met Jane and after 10 minutes of my assessment, i noticed that she was
far different than my other trainer's. Jane knew how to put in fast
faults and take you for a ride just like the examiner's.
So i did my part 2 training with Jane in Lincoln and took my part 2 test
and passed with zero faults, that's something i thought before was
un-achievable for me, Jane's training made this possible.
I then started my part 3 training and Jane showed me the way to control
the examiner's so that you don't get taken for a ride by them.
Jane played lot's of part 3 scenario's, by the time i was ready for my
test i new that i could go out anywhere in the UK and beat the
examiner's at this part 3 game.
Jane taught me all the trick's she knew as an examiner and with
that knowledge i went and passed my part 3 test 1st
time with Jane's training.
I am so glad i found Jane.

I went to Jane having failed my first attempt at the ADI
PART THREE. Jane did a full assessment and then looked at the weakness
which had caused me to fail first time - She knew exactly which areas to
target and was absolutely spot on as eight weeks later I retook part three
and passed with ease. I would recommend Jane as a first class instructor

recently completed the Train the Trainer course with Jane Clarke, I would fully
endorse Jane for any PDI/ADI who wishes to develop their instructional
skills. From the outset Jane fully accommodated my requirements, all
necessary and relevant training materials were provided and were of excellent
quality, adding value to the in car training. The in car training was
relaxed but informative and Jane had the ability to adapt her teaching style to

As a Police Officer I have been trained by various very capable instructors in a number of driving techniques to include Police Advanced 1 (VIP and Category A Escort Driving) and have on numerous occasions driven Royalty and other
VIP's.
As soon as I met Jane it was immediately obvious that Jane was extremely capable and is a top class instructor. Jane was able to spot my instructional weaknesses and offer a simple remedy to fills those gaps.
After the 40 hour course I was fully aware of the method that I needed to employ to not only pass the Part 3 of the ADI test but to practically instruct.
As I went for the test I was completely clear as to what I needed to do and how to do it and I honestly believed that any failure would be a silly error on my part. The confidence that I had going into the test is testament to the top class preparation that I was afforded by Jane.
I passed first time despite being examined by Bobby (the butcher) Barton.
Having failed my 1st attempt at the Part 3 Test I realised that I needed to find further training and instruction. My thoughts were to find a specialist Part 3 Instructor.
Jane was recommended to me by a friend who had also spent time training with her. After meeting Jane and having an honest assessment I soon realised that I had found someone who knew the business inside out.
Jane's knowledge and experience was very beneficial to me, she identified my weak points and concentrated my training around them as well as being very complementary with the things that I did well.
I honestly believe that without Jane's advice the Part 3 test would of been a tougher challenge to achieve.
I have now passed my 2nd attempt and cannot thank Jane enough
I had made a decision to become a driving instructor, yes the adverts on tv, So I went with a company who as time went by was telling me they were struggling to get people through their Part 3, that did my confidence no good at all. I decided to leave the company and get a sponsorship with someone else. They suggested - highly recommended Jane. I was so nervous meeting her. The day and time arrived, I sat in her car, and within minutes she was putting me at ease. I did admit to Jane that the training I had up to then was confusing, I did what I was taught but not really understanding the why's and wherefores. Over the next few hours of training with Jane, it was like a cloud had gone and everything felt much clearer.
I had some great times, I loved my lessons with her, i still had the odd butterfly or so, I really respect Jane and felt I really wanted to do well, not just for myself, but also for Jane.

After having my own Haulage business for 25 years I decided I needed a change and decided to pursue a career as a driving instructor. I signed up with a national driving school and duly paid my £3,500, after a while it became apparent the training I was receiving was extremely poor, I felt I was being taught to fail. Then I heard of Jane, what a difference. She virtually had to start from scratch with regard to preparation for my Part 3. Jane is an incredible teacher and knows driving instruction inside out (it's well worth reading her articles in ADI News), the lessons are fun and very soon things start to fall into place. I decided to start training with Jane after I successfully past my part 3 test. Unsure at first as to how Jane would develop my teaching skills, I felt apprehensive with my check test approaching. I gained my knowledge and experience from your expert skills in teaching with the following two points being of particular use to me and which I feel helped me pass.
• Your suggestion of breaking down the fault assessment into sections enabling me to deal with them one at a time and then putting them all back together help me to identify, analysis and give remedial action with better knowledge.
• Sitting in the back of a car watching you teach a learner driver gave me a different perspective and helped me understand how important it is to gain control of a lesson.

I contacted Jane to arrange my first lesson, and was quickly and easily a given a date and time for our first meeting.
The first lesson I saw Jane, I was quite nervous, (with expectation and anticipation!!), to my relief Jane was very professional and calming. Becoming an ADI is not easy, regardless of what the adverts say, but what made the difference for me was Jane Clarke.
Her complete understanding of both the subject and the pupil, along with humour and patience, gave me a fuller understanding of what skills are required and helped me attain them.
